A Life Coach is a trained and qualified professional who partners with you to define your unique goals (personal or professional) and helps you make the changes to get the results you want.

A coach holds the client committed to act on the actions which are agreed upon together and builds your motivation and momentum to keep going.
A coach provides support when the day to day challenges get in the way of your bigger goals and helps you take actions and decisions so you feel less stressed and more in control of your lives.

-What do people seek coaching for?
One of the most common reasons people report for wanting to work with a coach is the feeling of being "stuck". They're stuck in a job they don't like, stuck in an unsatisfying relationship, stuck in unproductive patterns, or stuck in a life that lacks meaning and purpose. It is a coach's job to get you unstuck.
What are the results that people expect/want from coaching?

Improve your relationships, personal well being, clarity on your goals, find your life purpose, find happiness, do what you love, change careers, manage major life transitions, be more confident, make decisions, be more productive, manage stress, have inner peace, motivation, positive thinking, overcome procrastination.
-What if I'm not clear about my goals?
In the first one or two sessions, your coach will usually go over your situation, clarifying where you are or what's missing for you. If you aren't clear on your goals yet, that is okay. Life coaches are trained to ask you the right questions and actively listen, to help you unpack what truly matters to you.
Getting clarity on your goals is in itself an objective for life coaching.
-How long does it take for results to show?
You will start to notice the impact of coaching from the very first session as you experience a shift in perspective, new ideas and insights and an action plan to take forward.
Results continue to be obvious after every session as you implement the new learnings in your life.
-What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is a limited time, forward focused partnership, which helps the client move forward and solve their problems or achieve the outcomes they want.
Coaching typically does not focus on past trauma or clinical conditions like severe depression or other mental health conditions. In such cases a coach may sometimes work in collaboration with a client's therapist to help create goals, forward action and accountability.
-How long is the coaching process ?
Coaching is a time specific process that helps build your resources for the present and the future. A complete process should be an average of 6 to 8 sessions over a period of 3 to 4 months. The actual number and frequency of sessions may vary and is agreed between you and your coach according to your needs. Although many people find that even one or two sessions gives them the clarity and momentum they need, it is recommended to complete the process for more powerful change.
-How effective have you known coaching to be?
Most successful people in the world today work with personal coaches to help them align with what they want and keep them on track. Statistics show that coaching is increasingly being recognized as a most effective tool for personal and professional enhancement. -How do you measure your success as a coach?
Assessments are completed by the client at the start and the end of the coaching process to measure the improvements and success towards their desired outcomes.

-Can this be done remotely?
Yes, I work with clients globally through phone and online sessions. In fact my clients love this kind of accessibility and support.
-What type of homework does the coach give?
At the end of each session, your coach will ask you to commit to completing certain tasks before the next session, which is often referred to as homework. These are often agreed on together as being the important things you can do to move you closer to your desired outcomes. Homework can be as simple as a daily intention or worksheet or a challenge or action to be completed.
Commitment, accountability and follow-through are some of the most valuable components of the life coaching process and they are a big reason why people who work with a life coach make so much more progress than they do when working alone.
-Does a Life Coach ever need a Life Coach?
All credentialed coaches are required to complete a certain number of coaching sessions with a mentor for themselves, and additionally most coaches retain coaches for themselves because we know the value of having an accountability partner who we can always trust to be in our corner.
